New Propel AI Product Updates [September 2026]

At Propel, we continue to enhance our platform as we hear from our customers.

This month's release focuses on two areas: making journalist context easier to find, and making it faster to organize the work already in front of you.

Here are the updates live inside Propel AI:

‍1. Notes View

All of your journalist notes now live in one centralized view. Review previous notes, add new ones, and plan your next steps without leaving the list.

You can also choose whether a note is visible only to your account team or shared across your entire firm — and the latest three notes now appear directly on the contact card.

Where to find it: Open the Journalist contact and select Notes View.

2. Sorting options in the Story Funnel

You can now sort your Story Funnel by journalist name, outlet name, when a pitch was sent, when it was last opened, or when the card was last updated.

This gives you a faster way to prioritize follow-ups and focus on the pitches that need your attention.

Where to find it: Go to Story Funnel and select from the Sort drop down.

3. Improved sorting in Media Lists

Media Lists can now be sorted alphabetically, or by when they were created or last modified - so you can quickly find your newest lists, revisit recently updated ones, and keep everything organized the way your team works.

Where to find it: In Media Lists, use the Sort control.
